Controversy

In late 2011, On Line Opinion published an article titled "Dismantling a homosexual marriage myth" by Bill Muehlenberg, the Secretary of the Family Association of Victoria. Young stated in a blog post that On Line Opinion was "under attack from a number of gay activists" as a result of the decision to publish the piece. According to a follow-up article by Young: "the piece was found to be objectionable by an employee at IBM, another in the advertising agency that places the ads for IBM, and that as a result ANZ also withdrew their advertising".
