In 1998 the hotel was restored by Jestico Whiles Associates who purposefully retained its Edwardian style, and also included Louis XVI ornaments to furnish it, including a 400 piece art collection. The exterior is also made from Norwegian granite.

Of note is the Dome Suite, which is the hotel penthouse, which regularly hosts wealthy international executives and business magnates. The founder, Campbell Gray, has professed that the hotel is intended to be a classic hotel and is not intended to be a boutique hotel or geared towards "young, trendy people", although the hotel does attract many fashionistas and West End aficionados under 40.
