Original 21 is the largest AEK Athens supporters club. The first attempt to organise AEK supporters was Gate 21 (formed in 1975), which took its name from the gate in the Nikos Goumas Stadium

, Nea Filadelfia, where the most hardcore fans gathered. Disillusioned by the direction Gate 21 was taking, a handful of supporters broke away in 1982 and created their own club, naming it Original 21. They took over the lower tier of the then-new double stand, which they nicknamed "Skepasti".

Original 21's aims are to follow AEK everywhere and to maintain a family feel within the organisation. Their headquarters, in the Exarchia area by Alexandras Avenue
