OrthoIndy - located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a private, full-service orthopaedic practice in the Midwest and one of the largest in the country. At OrthoIndy, physicians provide bone, joint, spine and muscle care.
Currently, the group consists of over 65 physicians, including those who specialize in orthopaedic care, physical medicine, rehabilitation and anesthesiologists.

Founded in 1986 by the physicians of OrthoIndy, the The Orthopaedic Research Foundation, Inc. serves as a tool to increase the knowledge of musculoskeletal disorders within the scientific and public community through education and research. The ORF represents interests of more than 56 musculoskeletal specialists of OrthoIndy and the Indiana Orthopaedic Hospital.
OrthoIndy physicians provide care to the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever, Indiana Ice, Indianapolis Indians, IndyRacing League and Dance Kaleidoscope, as well as local colleges and high schools.

1969- Blackwell/Brueckmann Corporation becomes Orthopaedics Indianapolis
1986- Opened OrthoIndy Senate and Danville offices
1991- Dr. Joseph Randolph elected president of OrthoIndy
1992- Opened OrthoIndy Eagle Highlands office
1994- OrthoIndy Grows to 26 physicians
1997- Northwest Surgery Center and NW-OrthoIndy office opens
1999- OrthoIndy grows to 46 physicians, adds 3 Southside practices, 9 new surgeons
2000- Practice grows to 67 physicians with 2 additional practices
2001- Dr. David Fisher elected president of OrthoIndy, Opened OrthoIndy Fishers office
2002- Opened Southeast Surgery Center (Today known as IOSC), Consolidated 2 smaller locations into the Southside office
2005- Dr. Frank Kolisek elected president of OrthoIndy, IOH opened, NW Surgery Center closes and is converted into clinic space
2007- Dr. John Dietz is elected chairman of IOH
2008- OrthoIndy West and IOH West opened in Brownsburg, IN

In 1962, Mr. Donald Blackwell and Dr. Robert Brueckmann founded the Blackwell and Brueckmann Partnership. Today, that group is known as OrthoIndy.Timeline
1962- Founded by Drs. Blackwell and Brueckmann1969- Blackwell/Brueckmann Corporation becomes Orthopaedics Indianapolis
1986- Opened OrthoIndy Senate and Danville offices
