In June 1973, Till Gins organised a three week long language course at Sorbonne University in ParisParis

using teaching methods inspired by Oxford University. This initial success led to the opening OISE's first school in 1975.
Lessons
OISE provides intensive language training courses. Each teaching day encompasses grammar, vocabulary and fluent language production in a natural environment.- Tutorial lessons: one-on-one lessons.
- Quatorial lessons: up to 4 students.
- Octorial lessons: up to 8 students.
