Padraic Davis

Padraic Davis was a Gaelic Footballer from Co Longford. He played with the Longford intercounty team for 12 years from 1995 to 2007. He played club football with Fr Manning Gaels with whom he won 4 Longford Senior Football Championships 3 in a row from 1996–98 and again in 2001. He also played Railway Cup for Leinster from 1998-2004. He was Longfords leading forward for many years in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship
and one of the greatest players the county has ever produced.
After retiring from playing he went into management and is currently Manager of the Longford
Under 21 team, which he led to a Leinster Final in 2011 but lost out to Wexford. He is also a selector with the senior team.
