  • The 1936–1939 Arab revolt in Palestine where the Arabs of Palestine revolted against the British rule in the British Mandate of Palestine, claiming for the independence of the country and a halt of the increasing Jewish immigration in the country.
  • The 1947–1948 Civil War in Palestine during the last six months of the British Mandate of Palestine, where the Jewish and Arab communities of Palestine fought each other; leading to the 1948 Arab-Israeli war.
