Panagiotis Tsakalakos (born in New Jersey

in c. 1978) a Greek-American singer and guitarist is the winner of the second series of Greek Idol
. In the final held on 25 June 2011, he won with 53.8% of the public votes against rival finalist Malou Kiriakopoulou (in Greek Μαλού Κυριακοπούλου). Soon after his win, he released his debut single "Poly mou paei" (in Greek "Πολύ Μου Πάει").
Panagiotis Tsakalakos is the son of Greek immigrants to the States and holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Music.
