took over Steyr-Daimler-Puch and is now part of General Dynamics European Land Combat Systems (ELCS), which is also the parent company of MOWAG
and Santa Bárbara Sistemas
.
The Pandur I is no longer in production and has been replaced by the improved Pandur II, which is available in 6x6 and 8x8
