made them an offer they could not refuse, and they bought him in 2005. He played 79 league games for the team, scoring 2 goals. During his time with Basel he won the Swiss Championship
twice 2005 and 2008 and the Swiss Cup
twice 2007 and 2008. He also won the Uhren Cup
with Basel in 2006. The club did not extended his contract and he was released in July 2008.
On 14 February 2009, he signed for FC Dinamo Bucureşti of Romania on a free transfer. He played nine games for them. On 28 August 2009 the 28 year old Senegal
