Party Animals tells the story of people involved with the Parliament of the United Kingdom

Despite reasonably good critical reaction, the show has scored poorly in the ratings, attracting only one million viewers. The BBC has not commissioned another series.
The show featured Matt Smith, portraying Parliamentary researcher Danny Foster in his first major television role. Smith currently portrays the Eleventh Doctor
