Paul Campbell is a retired Police Officer and married to Helena with a grown up family. He is described as "a life long football fan who enjoys the odd round of golf provided the weather is good and the course is flat and that he enjoys reading especially Biographies and History"

Political career

As a member of the Conservative Party Campbell has held a variety of positions including election agent, Parish Councillor and County Councillor. He was elected Councillor in the
Warrington Borough Council
for Penketh & Cuerdley on Thursday May 1, 2008 and was appointed the executive member for finance in December 2009.
