which sent the English flyhalf flipping through the air, landing dangerously around his head. Emerick was subsequently suspended for five weeks, ruling him out of the remaining World Cup campaign. He was again suspended for ten weeks in 2009 following the second RWCQ match between the USA Eagles and Canada. In the 27th minute he kicked Canadian center DTH van der Merwe
in the head.
