Prior to this he was Group Chief Operating Officer of Watermark plc which provides a diverse range of products and catering services to the airline and travel industry.

Paul has a background in mainstream tour operating, starting in Club 18-30 as a Resort Manager, working as a Product Development Executive/Manager at Saga Holidays and then spending 13 years within the My Travel Group. He joined Airtours Holidays as a Contracts Manager and rose to the position of Purchasing Director where he was responsible for the business’s £750 million spend on third party travel products. He was then appointed as Deputy Managing Director of Going Places Travel where he managed and implemented the chain’s commercial and marketing strategy. After leaving My Travel Paul Evans joined First Choice Holiday Division as Managing Director where, amongst his other activities, he integrated the multi-brand/business units Unijet, Sunquest, Eclipse, Falcon/Jet and Ski business, into one. Following this, he became a Non-Executive Director of Holiday Hotels before this business was acquired by lastminute.com

Paul Evans is currently a non-executive director of the French hotel company Eurogroup.
