Original members Frost, Iwan and Rob had already wrote a number of tracks for a second album, and with Mullen joining the first track to be written as a group was "This Ship", and in January 2008 the band headed to America to record the album This Is a Fix

It featured lead and backing vocals from Mullen, with tracks such as "This Is a Fix" and "Magazines" featuring Mullen's lead vocals. The band's third album Tear the Signs Down
expanded upon Mullen's vocal duties with him taking lead in "High Time" and "Run & Hide".
