Leeds were subsequently relegated that season, with Robinson having a slightly disappointing season. He showed his emotions after Leeds were relegated when he burst into tears. Paul Robinson had a great relationship with the Spurs fans and even started some chants before a European game against Slavia Prague. He became a real fan favourite due to his banter and interaction with the fans.
