Paul Tucker is the Bank of England
's executive director (with responsibility for markets) and has served on the Bank's Monetary Policy Committee
from June 2002 and both the interim and permanent Financial Policy Committee
(2010 onwards). He was appointed Deputy Governor of the Bank of England with effect from January 2009.
