. He would spend 5 seasons at the club, captaining them to their FAI Cup
win in May 1992. This was their first major success since the 1979 League Cup win. His final appearance in the Red n Black was against Derry City in an FAI Cup Semi-Final defeat on April 13, 1994.
From here, he moved to Shamrock Rovers where he would also spend 5 seasons. During his spell at Rovers he made 4 appearances in European competition, scoring once.
