, but stated that he would leave if the state party would not disaffiliate from the national party. However, deParrie died on the day the steering committee for the Constitution Party of Oregon
convened to consider disaffiliation, which it ultimately chose.
deParrie was also a member of Operation Rescue
and was arrested several times while protesting.
