Pedmore is a residential suburb
of Stourbridge
in the West Midlands
of England
. It was originally a village in the Worcestershire
countryside until extensive housebuilding during the interwar years saw it gradually merged into Stourbridge.

Pedmore is served by two primary schools - Pedmore Church of England
school, and Ham Dingle school. It is also served by a secondary school
- Pedmore Technology College, which until July 2004 was called The Grange School.
In the 1920s, Pedmore House was built on what is now the end of Ham Lane. It became a local landmark, offering restaurant facilities that later incorporated the Tuscana
Italian
restaurant as well as 20-bedroom hotel. It closed in July 2006, despite being hugely popular with customers, and was demolished the following year to make way for a housing development by David Payne homes.

Also noted for his hit book, 'style with the master maker' came James 'Jamie' Wilkes. After a short stint in prison for stealing fabrics from a fashion show, his fame grew and grew. His first shot for glory was when he famously managed to combine 2 different types of cloth to make the perfect material that replicates silicon rubber, as opposed to the same kind that can cause allergic reactions in many sexual uniforms. He grew up in Pedmore and has made a comfortable home with him and his geese.

-based football club Shoot the Boot FC, also has a home in Pedmore, and has resided in the suburb for all but two years of his life.
