Peg Kehret was born on November 11th 1936 in LaCrosse, WI. As a child she was a normal children. When she was 12 she had 3 types of polio which paralyzed her neck and down. She stayed at the hospital for 9 months. In 1955 she married Carl Kehret. They moved to California. In California they adopted 2 children Bob and Anne. Before Peg started writing she wrote plays, radio commercials and magazine stories. In 1970, Peg and Carl moved to Washington. Carl died on April 28, 2004.
