Pente or Pende Pigadia is a settlement in the municipality of Filippiada
in the northern Preveza Prefecture
in Greece not far from Kleisoura. Pente Pigadia is about 5 to 6 km east of the GR-5

(Patras - Antirrio - Arta - Ioannina) and is linked with another secondary road linking Arta
to the south and Ioannina
to the north. The area are mainly made up of hills and mountains, farmlands dominate the area.

on October 21, 1912, where the Battle of Pente Pigadia
took place, later it joined the rest of Greece
after the end in July 1913. It adopted its current name in the 1920s, prior to that, the village was known as Brigka or Briga (Μπρίγκα). After World War II

, many of its buildings were rebuilt and later emigration occurred to larger cities and developed countries. Electricity and automobiles arrived in the 1970s, it was linked with pavement in the late-20th century, television arrived in the 1980s. Internet and computers arrived in the late-1990s.
