Ideology and agenda
The party is focused on the development of an anti-corruption policy, which includes barring the use of family connections or incumbency beyond the age of 70 within the party. Badal stated that he wanted to focus on building government along divisionless and non-demogogic line. He stated that "My vision for Punjab is not that of a state where roads and minds are so narrow that you have to deferentially make way for cavalcades and cacophony of red beaconed VIPs.
