Peristeri is a suburban municipality in Athens

, located about 5 km NW of the downtown area. The municipality is bordered by the Cephissus
/Cephissos River, Athinon Avenue (GR-8), Chaidari
in the west and Petroupoli
in the northwest, with a size of around 10 km² (4 sq mi). The area includes the northern half of the Athens Industrial Area, with its main streets taking in Ethnikis Antistaseos Street and P. Tsaldari Street.
