Eu Só Quero Ser Livre, from DeckDisc records, was a strong success in the Brazilian charts. Her songs talk about the teenager's way of life, and its disillusions, strange and funny situations. Her song style is considered to many people, the Melodic funk, but Perlla herself says that is not her musical style.
With a 32 shows-per-a-month average, Perlla is considered the Brazilian music revelation. The song "Tremendo Vacilão", that talks about a conflicted relationship of Perlla, was top of the charts in 2006; "Totalmente Demais", a remake of the famous Brazilian singer Caetano Veloso
's song, was theme of the Brazilian TV novel "Cobras & Lagartos", of TV Globo. She also participated with the samba
group Disfarce, with the single "Solução", another success in Brazil.
Perlla was engaged to soccer player Leonardo Moura, who currently plays for Flamengo
