Perroy is may have been first mentioned in 910 as Prihoiam though that identification is disputed. In 1172 it was mentioned as Perrueis.Geography
Perroy has an area, , of 2.9 square kilometre. Of this area, 1.8 square kilometre or 62.1% is used for agricultural purposes, while 0.17 square kilometre or 5.9% is forested.
