Perth Blitz

The Perth Blitz are a Gridiron Club based in Perth, Western Australia. Gridiron is a growing minority sport in Western Australia (Gridiron in Western Australia

Since its formation in 2006 the club has gone from strength to strength. The club has so far had over 230 members and is an active member of GridironWest and Gridiron Australia
.
In its three year history, the Blitz have made the GridironWest playoffs every year and the Grand Final twice, narrowly losing in February 2009 in what is widely considered the best grand final ever.
The Blitz train every Tuesday and Thursday evening from July at South Perth Rugby League Club, Manning Road, Manning.

Team history
The Blitz rose from the ashes of the Perth Giants in 2006 with a new look and a totally new structure. The club is run by a committed group of 40+ players. There is no single ‘owner’ of the Blitz, which is a key to the club’s success.Since its formation in 2006 the club has gone from strength to strength.
