Peter Hooton was the vocalist of Liverpool-based group

. He was also its sole founder member in the 1980s.
Multi-instrumentalist Peter was born in Everton in September 1962 and spent his early childhood in Everton/Anfield and Aintree areas of Liverpool before working in Cantril Farm housing estate. The Farm were named after a farm in Lydiate and not Cantril Farm that is an urban myth.
Prior to his involvement in music

, 'The End'. He has just been involved in publishing a book about Liverpool FC's seven European Cup Finals called 'Here We Go Gathering Cups in May'.
He is married and has a son named Thomas and a daughter, Ella. He is a regular on TV and radio] giving his views on just about everything. His band The Farm have just recorded a version of Needles and Pins for the forthcoming No 1 Project which features Liverpool artists covering Liverpool No 1 hits from the past 50 years.
Hooton is a committee member of Spirit of Shankly
