Peter Morici

Peter Morici is an American macroeconomist and Professor of International Business at the R.H. Smith School of Business
at the University of Maryland, College Park
. He is a graduate of SUNY Albany in New York State where he received his Ph.D in Economics in 1974.
. In 1978 he moved to the National Planning Association in Washington where he was elected a Vice President in 1983. He joined the University of Maine
as a Professor of Economics in 1988 and was Director of its Canadian-American Center from 1990 to 1993. He also served as chief economist at the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Morici is the author of 18 books.
