Phan Phiphop Lila Bridge is a bridge

") in 1809, Phan Phiphop Lila Bridge was began to be constructed in 1902 by the royal command of King Chulalongkorn
who desired to have an elegant bridge connected with the newly built Thanon Ratchadamnoen Nai. The construction was completed in 1906, King Chulalongkorn presided over the opening ceremony of the bridge on November 15 of the same year in which the name "Phan Phiphop Lila" was also granted.
The bridge was firstly decorated with attractive wrought iron
s, but they were all disassembled when Phra Pin-klao Bridge
was built in 1973.
