Formation (2003;2008)

There is contradictory information on the internet concerning Phase 's formation published even from the band itself. This is due to several reasons. The basic idea was created back in 2003 with several fruitless attempts of forming a full band and a promo that can be found literally nowhere. While the kept the original idea and the name building a high-flown web presence because there where so many covets of the name something to be secured with some major movements like partnering with Microsoft and being distributed under major music retailers. Musical disagreements within the circles of Phase were approaching to an end when Thanos met Alex in 2006 in a class they had picked commonly along with their first drummer Dimitris as they were studying in the same department of Technological Educational Institute of Larissa not having the chance to meet before, eventhough they were already there for years. The band was put fully in function recording and giving shows in 2008. So both dates are somehow valid.

A glimpse before they stopped pushing on finding a proper name they came up with Phase and they loved its Greek origin and how it described everything that had to do with anything. Phase as a stage of progress within Phase's organism of the Phase coincidence that has to occur so everything would go smoothly between the members for the most beautiful music be encouraged to gush out.

Perdition and In Consequence (2009-present)

Perdition was the very first track to go out of the composition Phase, the first lyric was put down and the very first song to be jammed on a Phase rehearsal so consequentially was the first to be recorded and it corresponded to the Playlist 7 program of Microsoft

Style

The music press baptized the band as psychedelic alternative rock while they prefer the humorous psychedelic glam punk for their raw playing and their genuine rock attitude opposed to the fake new wave of reality show rockers.
Phase is described by themselves as a company of friends who share and stream ideas and also as an index of what they consider as good influences. They claim that through them one can find books, movies, sounds and philosophies worth the time spending. Further more they see the band as one more reason so they can hang out more often with each other, to travel, share experiences and discuss together while they are trying to put into sound and text the extract of this process.
