However, on March 4, 2011 a settlement between MIT and PBE was announced which included, among other elements, the restoration of PBE members' ability to reside in their house, PBE's membership in MIT's Inter-Fraternity Council (IFC) and PBE's participation in Rush activities starting in 2012.
