Teaching
Rice qualified as a music teacher in 1993 and has worked in a variety of educational capacities. These include working with Hodder Education on their best-selling Teach Yourself Singing, where he worked as an educational consultant to author Rick Guard. He was the head of music at ancaster and Morecambe FE College and has also managed a Lancashire-based Yamaha School of Music. He currently teaches privately, and clients include prospective Universal and Sony BMG artists managed by ex-Russell Watson manager Perry Hughes and work for the family of Lancashire multi-millionaire Trevor HemmingsTrevor Hemmings
