and Thomas Phaer (Phayer). Books that he has co-edited include Archipelagic Identities: Literature and Identity in the Early Modern Atlantic Archipelago (with Simon Mealor) Ashgate, 2004. His most recent collaboration is the 2010 anthology Shakespeare and Wales, with Willy Maley.
Dr. Schwyzer is married and has three children. He is the son of the late philosopher Hubert Schwyzer, the younger brother of the feminist academic and writer Hugo Schwyzer
