Gillian Phyllida Barlow is a British sculptor and art academic. She was Professor of Fine Art and Director of Undergraduate Studies at the Slade School of Art.

Educational background
Barlow studied at the Chelsea College of Art from 1960 to 1963, and the Slade School of Art from 1963 to 1966.

Professional background

Barlow worked at Bristol School of Art from 1966 to 1967 and Chelse College from 1967 to 1978. She took a break from teaching until 1983, teaching in Brighton and Camberwell then returning to the Slade.
