Professional career
Pierre Garçon was drafted by the Colts in 2008 and he spent the entire season as a backup receiver. Working his way into the active roster in 2009, Garçon was named Reggie Wayne's back-up. After Anthony Gonzalez's injury in week 1, Garçon moved up to the starting W2 position. He started until a hand injury caused him to miss weeks 16 and 17.
