Pinkfinger is the seventh cartoon produced in the Pink Panther series. A total of 124 6-minute cartoons were produced between 1964 and 1980.

Plot

Censorship
In the original version of this short, when the Panther finds a spy hideout and tries whispering the password "TSALB MIH" ("BLAST HIM" spelled backwards) to get in, he gets shot in the face by gunfire. In television prints, this was changed to a close up of a black-ball bomb coming out of the peephole and blowing up in his face.Further sources
