" was released digitally through the bands own label in October 2007. This was followed in July 2008 by "Start Digging". Leading on from this, the band played support slots in the UK with Athlete

. Their third single "Holes" was released later that year, on the 27th of October. In December 2008 the band signed a publishing deal with EA Games / Nettwerk Music Group, the first British
band to do so.
On 2 March 2009 the band released their first EP, Round One which featured the band's first three singles and b-sides along with the exclusive track "Not Thinking Straight". Later that year the band released two new singles, "Come Back To Me" and "Not Thinking Straight" which were featured in FIFA 10
. On 24 May 2010 the band released the single "Nothing From You" which included came with a remix by Redanka that was used on the computer game Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit
. This single was performed during the bands TV début on Live From Studio Five
with Ian Wright
on the 28th of May 2010. In June 2010, to coincide with the World Cup, the band recorded and released "Viva England", a charity single for the Homeless World Cup
charity. The following September the band released the single "Hazy Days", including a music video recorded in the grounds of Kenilworth Castle

December 2010 saw the bands American debut, performing concerts in Webster Hall
and the Mercury Lounge
, New York. On March 7, 2011 the bands début full length album, Spell it Out, was released. The 11th April 2011 saw the release of "Somebody Save Me" and at the end of April the band were back in America playing 10 gigs in LA and San Francisco.
The band has played at both the 2007 Glastonbury Festival
, on the "BBC Introducing" stage; and also the Godiva Festival
in their home town, Coventry, in 2009. After the release of their studio album, the band also played the South by Southwest
festival and completed a series of gigs in New York.
The name of the band was derived from an observation made by Emerson, when using predictive text
to message a friend, who noticed that the words are all entered using the same numerical combination; and, according to Page, "it just seemed a perfect fit".
