Geograpahy

Pitlam is a developing town located at 18.2333°N 77.8333°E. It has an average elevation of 423 meters (1391 feet).
Its great village in nizamabad and one of the famous bone setting place and a freedom fighter MR.LT. loka

It is a place which is very nearer to Maharashtra state which is about 40km away from pitlam village. A national highway No.13 connects Hyderabad and Nanded (of maharashtra) via pitlam town.

A famous village named Nizamsagar where the power genaration will be carried is very nearer to the village. This place named Nizamsagar was ruled by the Nizams and under the control of British a water dam was built which now survives the human life.

Loka Narayana and his brother Loka Laxmaiah are freedom fighters in the village.
