The events for the festivals from 2004-2009 are described below.

2004 Edition

The first official event show Planet Pop Festival was held on 13/14 August 2004, at the playhouse Via Funchal. At the time of the event, which was disclosed massive radio station Jovem Pan, a certain rage has gripped the fans of dance music, when at the time, they were asked the top names of the style they were doing at that time global success.

Erika, the sister of Tristano De Bonis (Magic Box) was a hit with the songs "Ditto" and "I Do not Know Relations" and at that time had a roll with DJ Ross. The trio, which comes from Italy, was certainly one of the great attractions of the night, performing together on stage.

On the same night, there were also two of the most renowned projects in the history of dance music: Lasgo

and Ian Van Dahl. The first, led by singer Evi Goffin and accompanied by the duo of dancers, ended the evening concerts, and was certainly the show that most stirred the public, raising the Via Funchal in middle of the night. Ian Van Dahl also did well, getting all the stir with his new hits of the then-new CD Lost & Found, and with old hits such as "Castles In The Sky", "Try" and "Will I?". The song "Waiting for You" was the big surprise of the night. The show also had performances of the Brazilian project with a muşca Dalimas

The estimated audience to have watched the 2003 shows was over 15 thousand people, divided between the two nights. The first night, the show was recorded, and its DVD release, 7 months later, was called "Live Planet Pop Festival in Brazil", Volume 1.

2005 Edition

In the second edition of the event, there was notable greater care of the production of the show on the stage set. But at the same time, there were many complaints from the public about the low sound that was issued by amplifying boxes, and the fact the lighting in Via Funchal

This event occurred on 7/8 April 2005, and the event was less public than the previous edition. The 2005 event repeated the attraction of Italian DJ Ross, Magic Box and Erika

". On vocals, the German Charlene also got a little shy, but the band's final show, came loose and revealed an amazing chemistry between her and the public, a fact that came to be confirmed in the next event in 2006.

A key attraction of the evening was the group The Underdog Project, from the USA. The group that unites beats typically American, such that hip-hop, black and R & B, dance music, shook the theater for more than 1 hour. Highlight for the song "Saturday Night", the most famous and awaited the show.

The closing balance for two nights, it was clear that in that year's event, much reformulated positively, between stage, production and so on. But it should be noted that the repetition of the Italian trio show on those nights, only served to kill the will of those who could not go to the show last year, but it sounded repetitive and tiresome for the gifts in the first two editions.

The 2005 edition marked the debut of Daytona in the circuits of great shows. Another project led by Tibor Yuzo, who has commanded at the time the Dalimas, the project Daytona wrote a song exclusively for the event, called "The Butterfly". The presentation of Dalimas, especially the duet with Klauss as the song "How Do I".

2006 Edition

The 2006 edition of the event was again held in April and also came to rely on the disclosure massissa Radio Jovem Pan, which did not happen in 2005.

In the event that took place on 7/8 April 2006, there was a frenzy so great that the directors of the event were some of the success of the third edition of the festival. And agreed on the fly. Third Planet Pop was a huge hit, with audiences and critics, and marked the best Planet Pop Festival ever held.

A curiosity about the names of artists that would be disseminated: there was no official announcement about the names by the Building Records label, which was trying to make a thriller about and whether or not the shows in 2006. But an ad on the show schedule on the official sites of Ian Van Dahl and Lasgo (which are the same Belgian label) not sanctioned by the production of the event here in Brazil, has indicated to the event, since the two shows scheduled one after the other, just the month of April, in SP, it clearly showed that it was a great show to be held in the same Via Funchal.

(Brazil). There was nothing to hide, but there would be another Planet Pop Festival, with the best attractions of each year and Groove Coverage, a novel attraction more than expected.

So it has come to the end of January and all the artists already confirmed: the Belgian group Ian Van Dahl and Lasgo, the German project Groove Coverage and fellow German DJ Jan Wayne with a vocal Charlene the Italians Ross and DJ Double You; beyond national attractions Daytona, Dalimas and Kasino. It is noteworthy that the attractions of Brazil in the advent of shows every cast CD's, especially Kasino, which was the country's most anticipated attraction of the night, because the inserts singles in their novels of 8 TV Globo.

Ian Van Dahl lived at the time of Planet Pop a very special moment in his career: the music Movin 'On, which is the first single from the defunct third CD, was successful in all radios and ballads of Brazil. Success that this would only increase in the months that followed, when the song was included on the soundtrack of the teen soap Malhação. Ian Van Dahl released the song "Movin 'On", which was No. 1 on the radio in Brazil four times in 2006, an unprecedented feat for a song of dance music.

In the week that made the show, a marathon was imposed on artists who would participate in the event interviews on radio, interests in TV, chat on internet portals, articles in major newspapers from the state capital, and various events disclosure of the show. The high point was the press conference sponsored by the Building Records in a great hotel near Via Funchal, local shows. Was attended by all the artists who sing in the third edition of the festival. Several people came to the running of the event, among fans of Rio Grande do Sul, Pará, Amapá, Belo Horizonte and various regions of the state of São Paulo, showed the strength of the name Planet Pop Festival and the unique magic that engulfed the third edition of the event.

In two days of Planet Pop, the highlight was the concert that took place on Saturday, although that was not the day of the shoot was the day on which presented a greater capacity of the public since Friday, was the same day the show's international singer Jack Johnson, also in São Paulo, which caused migration from Friday to Saturday for much of the public.

In both concerts, the repertoire and format of the presentations were similar. The order was as follows: Daytona, Dalimas, Kasino, Jan Wayne & Charlene, DJ Ross & Double You, Groove Coverage Lasgo and Ian Van Dahl singing together on stage in the acclaimed Battle Tour. Without a doubt the result was more exciting shows ever seen on a Planet Pop The furor caused by the phenomenon Kasino, who led the crowd to madness. Soon after, the show of Jan Wayne took the Via Funchal apotheosis with the duet between the public and vocalist Charlene, which led to the tears. Later, Charlene came back and sang with Mel (lead singer of Groove Coverage) the classic "I'll Fly With You" by Gigi D'Agostino and Love Generation, anthem Cup that year. In the end, everyone sang Happy Birthday to Mel, as was his 25th birthday on the day. More tears. In the end, the joint submission of Annemie Coenen (Ian Van Dahl) and Evi Goffin (Lasgo) set the tone of nostalgia to the public, who enjoyed and danced a sexy show, full of hits and remixes of the main achievements of the group including the hit "Surrender" of the new album of Lasgo, FAR AWAY.

It is estimated that the public's Planet Pop Festival this year was 6,000 people on Friday and Saturday in 7500, totaling around 13,500 in total. The DVD with the images of the show was launched in December 2006, entitled Planet Pop Festival Live in Brazil Volume 3.

Speculations

Much is said about the end of Planet Pop Festival, and his fate is vague therefore had ended the era of Dance / Trance (2001–2006). The event, called his name strongly to artists dance scene, is in a sort of "hibernation" waiting for new phenomena arising from the dance music, and may reappear stronger than ever or simply disappear, it depends on the acceptance of public and especially the artists, who must innovate and release new singles.

Since publishing in 2007, the event now longed for an edition in 2008, as 3 major projects are European dance music with new CD's: Cascada, with Perfect Day, Milk Inc, Supersized, and Groove Coverage, with The Greatest Hits. The 3 groups, once dreamed of participation of Gigi D'Agostino, one would certainly unforgettable Planet Pop like that of 2006. It was hoped the event in 2008, as major artists are releasing new hits, singles and albums in Europe, and Lasgo's "new face" with the new singer Jelle Van Deal, is with 2 super singles: Out of My Mind and Gone, besides the great looks of the new album. AnnaGrace with vocalist Annemie Coenen (ex-Ian Van Dahl) are two super singles: You Make Me Feel and Let The Feelings Go Sylver (very little known in Brazil), is about to release a new album titled Sacrifice, the Finally the group was single I hate You Now and Rise Again. Milk Inc. is the single and album Forever Race, but very soon will launch the single Guilty. Milk Inc. draws crowds at their concerts in Belgium. Besides the group 4 Strings with the single Take Me Away. Cascada would be a great attraction of the night, the last single Perfect Day was released after two years with no Planet Pop Festival, there was an atmosphere of farewell Planet Pop Festival he would be forever in his eyes, memory, and especially in the heart of lovers dance music. between these two years with no Planet Pop Festival, emerges Spirit Of London, a huge festival psytrance, with mega internationally known DJs.

2009 Edition

The Planet Pop Festival 2009 took place on June 27, 2009, at Via Funchal, and clear.

The 2009 edition came with a small modification, the distance of dance music, and approximation of electro, and electro house, because that was the end of the dance/trance (2001–2006). Another important fact was the loss of space for the Spirit of London, as the largest event of electronic music, it also influenced this "change of style".

Commencing at 21:00, it was attended by Italian dance singer Moony, with the single "I Do Not Know Why" with the Swiss DJ Antoine Ft. Roby Rob with beats of house music, with the hit "this time", the German duo of DJs From eurodance Milk & Sugar Ft. Ayak, the group Spyzer, Tom Hopkins ft. Samara group of Brazilian electro house, House Boulevard, with "Set Me Free" and "Everybody's Grooving", Liberty House, DJ Ronaldinho radio energy 97, Joe K, Tiko's Groove, Marcelo Sá, Rafael Pucci, and DJ Tom Hopkins program superpop network TV.

The 2009 edition had the support of 97 FM radio energy.
