Pierson has won two championships with the Shock, in 2006 and 2008. She is perhaps best remembered for her involvement in the Sparks–Shock brawl in 2008. With 4.2 seconds left in the game, after a free throw, Pierson made a hard block out on Candace Parker; the two players became entangled and fell. After Parker went down, Pierson stormed over to Parker and aggressively walked over the top of her; in response, Parker grabbed and pulled Pierson down to the court. Parker threw a punch at Pierson before being tackled by Shock player Deanna Nolan
