Pomona Metrolink station is a Manchester Metrolink
station serving the Pomona Docks
area which is to yet to be redeveloped. Pomona is Metrolink's only purpose built elevated tram stop, built with exposed concrete supports similar to much of the DLR
.
Pomona is the only station on the Metrolink network to be built with ticket barriers; however these are currently not in use. The change from paper tickets currently being used on the system to more rigid card tickets being dispensed by newer ticket machines may mean that a barrier system will be used in future at the main interchanges

The station opened as part of the first stage of the Eccles
