Poorva was born in a Gokhale family on 22 November 1990 in Delhi. She did her schooling from the Modern High School, Delhi, is a trained classical dancer and was an aerobics instructor with Talwarkars.

Poorva Gokhale is a Marathi actress. She played in the Zee Marathi serial Rimjhim in 1999. After that, she worked in other Marathi serials such as Tharaar, Kya Baat Hain, Bhagyavidhata.She acted in the Marathi play Smile Please. Gokhale worked in the Hindi serials Kkoi Dil mein hain and Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii. She has also starred in a Hindi Music Album named Boondein. She is presently the lead actress in a Marathi Television show Kulavadhu opposite Subodh Bhave.

She was attending college and lived in United States. She was working to achieve her Bachelor's degree. She used to live with famous actress Ms. Joseph, Ms. Mehta, Ms. Parikh and Ms. Patel.
She passed away on November 7th, 2011.
