Founded in 1946, the two drydocks are located on the east side of the canal in Port Weller, Ontario
. It was sold to Canadian Shipbuilding & Engineering Ltd. but later became insolvent.
The current owners have renamed the facility Seaway Marine and Industrial Limited.
