Portello is a sparkling fruit flavored soft drink originating in England in the 18th century. It was then spread throughout the British Colonies.
The drink itself is pinkish-purple in colour, and has an usual taste halfway between Several fruit Berries and Creaming Soda, . It is highly sweetened, containing 16g of sugar per 100 ml (9.00009000090001E-09 US fl oz) and it is very much dependent on artificial colourings and flavours. Sold by the Coca-Cola Company in Sri Lanka

There is also a completely unrelated soft drink with the same name produced in the northern parts of Sweden. Despite sharing the name, it has absolutely nothing in common with the above described product.
