Present is a Belgian
progressive rock
group formed by guitarist Roger Trigaux in 1979.
and participated on the first two albums. After Heresie
(1979) he left Univers Zero to concentrate on his own vision and founded Present. The early lineup of Present featured fellow Univers Zero members Daniel Denis and Christian Genet playing drums and bass respectively.
Present disbanded after releasing Le poison qui rend fou in 1985, but reformed a decade later. The new lineup featured Roger's son Réginald as a second guitarist, another former Univers Zero member, Guy Segers, on bass, and drummer Dave Kerman

In September 2009 Present played a gig together with Univers Zero
in France (Cap Découverte / Maison de la Musique - Blaye-les-Mines) which was a very great pleasure for both groups. They played two compositions by Roger Trigaux.
