High school athletics

The Trojans have won three team state championships, the 1966 Class C indoor state track title, and the 2000 and 2001 girls Class 1A basketball titles, going undefeated both years, they also compiled a winning streak of 76 straight games from 2000-2002.

The Lady Trojans sandwiched state tournament trips around the state titles also.

The boys basketball team has been to the state tournament 4 times, in 1946, 1981, 1983, and 1999, with third place finishes in '83 and '99

The football team has qualified for the playoffs 12 times in school history, in '85, '86, '87, '88, '89, '90, '92, '03, '08, '09, '10, '11.
The Trojans were Class A runner-ups in '88, and semi-finalists in '85(Class A) and '09(8-man).

The boy's track team has produced one state title, the '66 indoor title. They finished second at the indoor meet the following year, 1967. They finished second at the outdoor meet in 1973, and they also finished third in '01. The Trojans also hold 2 state records, the 400 meter dash, set by Jordan Cornilsen in 2006 with a time of 48.32 seconds, and the shot put record, set in 1975 by Bob Feuerbach with a throw of 60 feet and 10.5 inches.

The girl's track team finished sixth in 2006.

The softball team has appeared in 3 state tournaments, finishing seventh both times, in '08, '10, and finishing in 3rd in '11.

The baseball team has qualified for 2 state tournament in '10, making the semi-finals, and '11 making the quarter-finals.
