When the resurrected god Argus sought servants to retrieve the keys to the Crucible of Life for him, he teleports several Ultras (superhumans) from Earth to the Godwheel

 team who are attempting to acquire the Windsword key from the underside of the Godwheel. He partially absorbs the reptillian Cayman, leaving him drained of much of his power and half-human. The sword is lost to the Freex. Primevil serves Argus until Argus attacks Necromantra. Primevil demonstrates great loyalty to Mantra, protecting her as best he can. Prime Himself

Primevil soon confronts Prime himself. Prime had been attacked by the Ultra-killer Rafferty

 who had shot an explosive tipped arrow into his head, blowing him up. Prime's alter-ego, Kevin Green, survives but he was suffering from a concussion. Primevil, drawn to the "Prime" energy within Kevin, attacks. Transforming into Prime, Kevin found that this Prime-body had its head on backwards, and was soon defeated by Primevil. Primevil attempts to absorb Prime and take his power, but the government heroine Phade intervenes and gave Prime the time to right himself and defeat Primevil.

Loki

A god soon used Primevil as a pawn again. The Norse god of evil, Loki

, trapped in the Ultraverse, seeks to gather the Infinity Gems

, Loki uses Primevil to retrieve the Mind Gem. Primevil, however, places the gem on his head and becomes intelligent. Seeking out Mantra, whom Primevil had fallen in love with, the pair found themselves under attack from Loki. Traveling to the Godwheel, they confront Loki. To keep the gem for himself, Primevil attempts to absorb Loki, though the act would kill him. To save Primevil from himself, Mantra separates the gem from his head. Loki soon acquires the gem for himself. With no reason to continue fighting, Loki lets Mantra and the once again near mindless Primevil depart.

Black September

Primevil had not appeared since the Black September Event changed reality.
