Prince of Civitella-Cesi is an Italian noble title granted to Giovanni Torlonia (1755–1829) of the Torlonia
family.
In exchange for the administration of finances of the Holy See
with the blessing of the Pope, Giovanni Torlonia was created in 1794 Duke
of Bracciano
and Count
of Pisciarelli; in 1803 Marquis
of Romavecchia and Turrita; and 1st Prince of Civitella Cesi (Princeps Romanus); he was created a Patrizio Romano in 1809 (with Papal confirmation of that honor on January 19, 1813) and Duke
of Poli and Guadagnolo in 1820, among other titles. He was the builder of the Villa Torlonia
