Johnson is currently in studio recording songs for her second album which she has said "will be pretty much like the first one, full of great ballads". The official release date has not been announced yet.

Johnson has been living in South Africa since January 2009, following her concert in Johannesburg. She attributes the decision to relocate to South Africa to the friendly and warm people that she’s met throughout her journey in the country.

"I have never met a people as friendly and welcoming as South Africans .. ," she says.
